Sarah Palin is Running for President in 2012: 46% of America Disapproves
She also announced yesterdays that she would "give it a shot in 2012," reports the NY Daily News. Game on! Palin has tossed her hat in the ring for the GOP nomination. Democrats everywhere are hoping that Palin gets the nomination, as it is clear America will never vote her in as president.
Sarah Palin, widely known now as Mama Grizzly, is laughable as a candidate for president. Has anyone ever seen a person, who majored in journalism no less, with less knowledge about the world? It is impossible to imagine her interacting with other world leaders.
Sarah Palin: A Quitter
She is also a quitter. She abandoned Alaska when she quit her job as governor. She cared more about the money she could earn elsewhere than the people of Alaska. She also attended a lot of colleges and took years longer than the typical four years to finish her undergraduate degree. Sarah seems to have a problem with focus and goals.
Sarah Palin: A Master of Spin
Palin also likes to spin the truth. I guess she doesn't realize that most Americans are smarter than she is. We're not buying her fibs, lies, and smears. She announced she'd run if Americans are "Willing to get back to time-tested truths," notes the NY Daily News.
I almost fell on the floor laughing when I read that. Sarah Palin and the truth just don't mix. Perhaps in just the way she needs to write notes on her hand to remember her ideas, she has a problem remembering what the truth is too.
Sarah Palin: Fashionista
Sarah Palin also seems to be a fashionista. While many women aspire to wear high fashion is that really an admirable quality in a candidate for president? Americans want a president with a brain we can admire, not the most stylish outfit.
The GOP spent $150,000 outfitting Palin. Why? Didn't she have any clothes of her own before she ran for VP? Also, there were some lies about an audit of the amount spent on her wardrobe. Palin claims there wasn't an official audit, but the Atlantic notes that Palin's father talked about an official audit and even mentioned it involved the underwear of the Palin children. Just why was the GOP buying undies for the Palin kids?
This just seems another example of Palin trying to work the system to get freebies and then lying about it later. This is hardly the type person who is qualified for the White House.
Sarah Palin: $100,000 Speeches
Palin isn't shy about charging $100,000 for her speeches. Despite the fact that she isn't a competent speaker and even has to write notes on her hand, Palin wants the big money for her presentations. It seems to be all about the dirty lucre for Palin. Show her the money and she'll quit her obligations as Governor and make a run for the cash.
The GOP is in Crisis
If Sarah Palin is the best candidate the GOP can muster up it is a strong sign the party is in chaos and weak. Palin does not have the intellect, experience, or gravitas needed to be president. She is all fluff and no substance. Reuters reports that a recent CBS poll showed that 46 percent of Americans have a negative opinion of Sarah Palin.
Sarah Palin seems like a throwback to the 1950s. Her Tea Party group is so conservative it is like they are trying to bring America back to a time before civil rights. Sarah Palin does not have a following that represents the real America. And the Tea Party has fractured the GOP and siphoned it of any strength it had left.
Palin continues to rant about the media. However, she is constantly out and about giving the media a rich source of her gaffes and mistruths about Democrats. She bashes Obama regularly. She spews hatred that divides America.
Sarah Palin will soon be but a memory in American politics. She doesn't have what it takes to compete in national politics.

Re: Dean Miller: I would not have voted for John McCain no matter who he chose as a running mate. Now, if Sarah Palin had been running for President, and had chosen McCain for VP, I would 100% for sure have voted for her. She is a true conservative, and men like you need to get used to the fact that there are conservative women out there who are willing to step up and try to lead America out of the mire that the Democrats and the GOP like you have gotten us into.
Most of you here are either Dems, or you have gotten all your information on Sarah Palin from the liberal news media, or listen to some of the RINO GOP members who hate her, because she is a woman who is also a conservative, and she takes away some of their thunder.

What scares me is that years ago in Georgia, a nutcase segregationist named Lester Maddox, whose claim to fame (aside from closing his restaurant rather than serve blacks) was riding a bicycle backwards. He was a joke... but he was a joke who won the office of governor. Never underestimate the stupidity of the masses.
