Sarah Palin Stop Kidding Yourself

Tony Daniels
It is time for Sarah Palin to start operating in reality.

She is not nor will she ever be a viable candidate for president, vice-president or any national political office requiring national and international awareness, knowledge and understanding of issues affecting the world.

We have John McCain to blame for this ongoing circus that is Sarah Palin.

His selection of Palin as his vice-presidential running mate in the 2008 Presidential Election campaign was a joke then and one that continues to this day.

In at least two nationally televised interviews with Katie Couric (CBS) and Charles Gibson (ABC), Palin demonstrated how out of touch and uninformed she was on issues and events in America and the world.

The McCain campaign tried their best to fill the obvious void that Palin possessed but their best efforts could not cover the vast informational divide that she had amassed over a lifetime of disinterest in world events.

Palin is delusional if she thinks that she is remotely qualified to be president of the United States and she has John McCain to thank for that delusion.

In a recent interview with Barbara Walters, Sarah Palin said that she believed that she could beat President Obama in the 2012 presidential election.

Sarah wake up.

Barack Obama would run circles around you in a head to head political confrontation and you know it.

After her disastrous interview with Couric in 2008 John Mc Cain felt it necessary to be present in her next interview to hold her hand and make sure she didn't fall prey to any "gotcha" questions.

The truth be told, before her selection by John McCain in 2008, Sarah Palin had no interest in national or world affairs and made no effort to educate herself in anything of depth concerning them.

In short, she was an illiterate.

And she hasn't moved far past that point to this day.

Her empty rhetoric filled with generalities and vague concepts are a smoke screen to attempt to cover up the void of information that still exists to this day.

Sarah Palin stop fooling yourself and stop trying to fool America.

Your elevation to the national scene was an attempt by a desperate politician who saw 2008 as his last opportunity at the brass ring and was willing to do anything, including picking an unqualified running mate who happened to be a good-looking woman, in order to win the election.

Your selection was based on the fact that McCain was trying to cash in on the Hillary Clinton supporters' disappointment that their candidate did not get the Democratic nomination.

Nothing more.

And it's time you realized that.

It is an unspoken fact that Republican Party leaders are praying that Sarah Palin does run for president in 2012. And they are terrified of her winning the Republican nomination.

Don't fool yourself. You were not qualified. You are not qualified. And in all likelihood, you will never be qualified.

You just don't have the political genes.
