While Gabrielle Gifford is in critical condition in the hospital because of a bullet that went straight through her brain, the right wing radical Sarah Palin is denying the possibility that the shooting could have been triggered by her arrogant irresponsible talk. Sarah Palin used words like 'cross-hairs' and 'lock and load' and even had a poster with cross-hairs focused on Gabrielle Giffords's district. It is absolutely true that the garbage spurted from Sarah Palin's mouth could motivate troubled people to commit violent acts.

Yet these politicians, who constantly use words like evil and communists to describe the democrats, still blindly ignore the possibility that their words may result in violence. I consider their denials arrogant and irresponsible.

If you or I had posted rhetoric and photos like Sarah Palin did, we would have been dragged away by Federal agents, interrogated and arrested because the poster could be considered a subtle death threat.. But not Sarah Palin. Is she above the law?

Even more ridiculous is the idea that this careless-speaking, radical, right wing conservative (Sarah Palin) would make a good President. She can't even make a complete speech without spurting her twisted viewpoints and garbage.

Furthermore, Palin's irresponsible use of the term "Blood Libel" probably alienated some voters who were swaying between voting for candidates supported by the Tea Party and more moderate candidates. Her excuse simply is not acceptable. It was her responsibility to know the meaning of the term blood-libel before she used it.

Sarah Palin does not learn from her mistakes. When a member of a political movement starts using campaign tactics that could be interpreted as a death threat or could lead some troubled minded citizen to the point of violence or could alienate voters, that member becomes a political liability and should resign.

Maybe Palin's radical arrogant nature alienated the McCain campaign staff. What really bothers me is that the Republicans don't have the courage to stand up to Sarah Palin. Maybe they don't want to end up in Sarah's cross-hairs.

My message to the Tea Party is to ostracize this radical careless-speaking arrogant politician before she does any more damage. These right wing politicians think they have the right to call upon Christian values while they distort the truth, condemn their opponents and mock their opponents. They think they have the right to call other politicians evil. How Un-Christian!! And they want to bring God into the US Constitution while they abandon the poor people of our nation, demonize the liberals and provide welfare for the rich. How Un-Christian! They call the liberals Communists and claim no responsibility for the violence that may have been motivated by the garbage these Conservatives preach. How un-Christian!

These truth-twisting, radical, right-wing politicians should own up to their own faults. If they don't tone down their reckless rhetoric, they will destroy our nation. They must act responsible and stop demonizing their opponents.

I think Sarah Palin owes President Obama and the other liberal candidates in the 2010 elections a public apology for demonizing them and using hunter jargon when describing her focus on them. She should apologize to the voters for her poor judgment when publicizing those campaign photos shown in the following references. Finally, she should personally apologize to Gabrielle Giffords and family for her posters and reckless rhetoric. That's what a good Christian would do.

You mean most liberal politicians, "this Administration", refuse to accept responsibility for ANYTHING!

  • Peter Flom1/11/2011

Yup. Like most conservative politicians, Sarah Palin refuses to accept responsibility for her actions.
