Sarah Palin-Vice President Material?

As a lifetime Republican, I am still waiting and hoping that the Republican Party will wake up and smell the coffee. However, John McCain has proven yet once again how incompetent he really is for the job of President. His choice for a running mate also proves once again that his focus is not on the American People, his focus is on what will hopefully win the election.

We all know Barack Obama has not led a state like Sarah Palin. We also know that Sarah Palin was a mayor of 9,000 for awhile. However, given the job each one is going for leads me to believe there is no comparison. Barack Obama is backed up by Joe Biden. He is young and will potentially not fall over in the next 4 years.

John McCain is another story. He is 72 years old, has had cancer, is a crotchety old fart and could potentially fall over at any point. He is arrogant and short tempered. Now he picks someone who has not done well managing her own household, but if John McCain were to fall ill or die, this is the person he says will take care of America.

Thank you John but no thanks!

I don't hold it against Sarah Palin that her daughter got pregnant. That happens all over America. My question is, Why did you have 5 children if your choice was to be a career woman? You just had a baby a few months ago. Duh! How irresponsible of her to even except the position of vice president. She says she is conservative and doesn't believe in abortion. Do you believe in contraception? Why would you have another child and then try to take on this position? Who is going to finish raising her children? Could be the reason the daughter got pregnant to begin with?

She did not have a role model to compare with. Mother is irresponsible, so is the daughter! Ever heard the poem, children learn what they live?

America has this belief that if a woman is married, she can have as many children as she wants. That is true. Yet, when you choose to do that, you should also choose to be responsible for that child. Where would Sarah Palin's daughter be today if 5 years ago, she had just remained the at the level of city council or mayor, long enough to spend the time with her daughter to maybe prevent this.

People want to have it all and their children more often than not fall by the wayside in the things that are truly important. If Sarah Palin is the next vice president or God Forbid, the next president, what happens to the children. 5 children folks! We know she loves sex. Like mother, like daughter. Was the last child an accident or a well planned act? If it was a surprise, why? She isn't responsible enough to use birth control? Like mother, like daughter.

Any older woman out there looking at the daughter in the now infamous photo can tell she has been sexually active for awhile. She has the "peter belly".

Where was Sarah Palin? What about the trooper situation? Did she use her power and influence to try and get this man fired because her sister was divorcing him? What is her potential for this kind of abuse once in power? Will she prove to be another George Bush or Dick Cheney? She was willing to cause a man to lose his livelihood for the sake of her sister who could have been a bitch to start with. No one knows why they were divorcing. Yet she would have used that power of her office to do that. What will she do as Vice President? Do we need this kind of scandal coming into another presidency?

We all know that the politicians will lie, cheat or steal to get their way. They are determined to win even if it is at the cost of America! I would be willing to venture there are many Republicans who are as concerned as I am about this woman. She opposes sex education in schools, abortion, same sex health care and many other issues that whether we like it or not, needs to be considered.

Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean it is going away. The gay and lesbian community is not going away. So instead of dealing with it, the Republicans are just going to continue to ignore that it is real. Ignoring that teen sex is real. Everyone knows where babies come from right? Well maybe not. Maybe we need to define it more clearly in the school system since parents like Sarah Palin refuse to teach their children at home. Now another child will enter the world to a teenage parent.

The Republicans have always stood for conservative leadership. They have always been the ones who were suppose to be on the side of right more so than democrats. Democrats were always the liberal anything goes folks. This election is proving to be an reverse example. Sarah Palin is standing up there boasting her conservative moral values and principles, yet her daughter is out there performing like a female rabbit. Yet because it is HER daughter, she is playing the grandma role and saying she will support her 100%. Maybe some time spent earlier would have be a better example.

She is standing up for honesty and right and the American way, but threatening people's jobs over family and prejudice.

I can tell you honestly that I am scared to death of this combination of people who may be running our country. John McCain and Sarah Palin are a lethal combination for this country. John doesn't have a clue about the lives of you and I. Sarah Palin can't run her own household but wants us to trust her to run the country. If she didn't have time to grasp the details of her daughters life, how will she grasp yours and mine?

If John McCain were to drop dead after he is President, Sarah Palin would be the President. She stands on the stage and portrays that strong woman attitude but it is very obvious to me that if she were put in the position of President, she would be lost. She has never operated in Washington at all. Who would back HER up if she were President?

This is a disaster waiting to happen fellow Republicans. If you are on board just because you are Republican, you better get out your life raft. This is a very real scenario folks. The ship is sinking and it hasn't even got under way yet? John McCain could live to be 100 but what if he doesn't? What kind of judgments is he going to make for us over the next four years, if this is an example?

Sarah Palin was chosen because she was a woman. It wasn't because she was the most qualified. John McCain was thinking of himself with this decision. He wasn't concerned with the American people. He only wants to win. Winning for him isn't going to do anything for America and Americans.

John McCain is as selfish as Sarah Palin. Their focus isn't on the benefit of the people they serve. It is on them being in the limelight. Being important. Sarah Palin's family has lost because of her selfish behavior. The American people will lose because of John McCain's selfish behavior.

Again American's need to stand up and be heard. When will you get tired of being screwed? When you stand up for someone, you better be sure they will stand up for you! John McCain and Sarah Palin are not those people. They are out for themselves. Are you going to WASTE your vote for people who have proven themselves to be the wrong answer?
