Sarah Silverman Mustache Best Emmy Moment

Chris Houston
I swear that I just saw Lucy Ricardo sitting and watching the Emmy's. But it was Sarah Silverman with a mustache or moustache. Not sure on the spelling but I am sure it was awfully funny. When so many stars seems to take the moment so seriously, Sarah Silverman was sitting in her seat as she was nominated for an award. She didn't win the "Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series" award but that perhaps made it more funny.

Sarah Silverman donned this fuzzy mustache for the Emmy awards. She is afterall, a comedian. That's what she does. She makes people laugh and she provided many for those who watched live and in person.

Her stoic look said it all. I've never seen anyone carry off a moment like that without breaking into a smile. Sarah Silverman earned a lot of fans with her mustache at the Emmy Awards. Justin Timberlake was reading off the nominees and the director took a shot of Sarah Silverman who was armed with a horrible black fuzzy mustache. Her eyes were so serious and her head was tilted as if she was so caught in the moment. For the comedian, it was a moment of genius. Her reaction to losing was also priceless.

Sarah Silverman should sport a beard next season if she is nominated again. The only shame is that she didn't win the award and we didn't get to see her speech. It would have been funny to see if Sarah Silverman took the mustache on stage to accept the award or not. My bet is she would have stayed in character and for that I am truly sorry we didn't get to see her acceptance speech. That could have been the funniest Emmy moment of all time.
