Sarah's Circle Has Open Volunteer Positions

Sarah's Circle, located at 4750 North Sheridan Road, Suite 220, in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood is seeking volunteers to help women who are either homeless or needing a safe place to stay. When you volunteer at Sarah's Circle, you will work with a volunteer coordinator to help determine which volunteer position is best for the agency, the clients and the volunteer. Current volunteer opportunities include working at the front desk as an assistant. The volunteer working the front desk will help answer phones, greet women, distribute mail and toiletries and oversee the computer. Other volunteer opportunities include helping to maintain and organize the clothing closet by sorting through donations and organizing the closet room.

The activity programming assistant volunteer opportunity entails contributing to Sarah's Circle Health, and Wellness and Empowerment program. Here, you will be able to reach out to the community, while assessing possible workshops, activities and events for the women.
