Sarah's Ultimate Veggie Burger was created by myself, Sarah Afshar. Recently, when I got incredibly hungry for a good veggie burger, I contemplated and debated what I wanted to do. I currently reside in Montana, so finding a great veggie burger (especially double) is very tricky. As a result, I created one of the best veggie burgers, which can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home.
Ingredients:
2 BOCA Flame Grilled Veggie Burgers
2 Cheddar Cheese Slices
2 Havarti Cheese Slices
1 Mozzarella Cheese Slice
4 Tomato Slices
2 Red Onion Slices
1 Hamburger Roll
1 tsp. of Mayonnaise
1 tsp. of Spicy Mustard
Some Dill Pickles
Some Garden Lettuce
You want to begin by cooking your burgers. Because they are vegan/vegetarian friendly, you can microwave them, however; for this particular recipe, I grilled them. Although the BOCA Flame Grilled Veggie Burgers already possess an acquired, yet savory smoke flavor, you do not have to grill them. They taste great in a stovetop pan or on a plate, in the microwave.
As you are preparing your veggie burgers, you want to prepare the sandwich itself before hand. Why? Because it relatively efficient and saves a lot of time, as a result. On a plate, you want to take your hamburger roll and spread it out. If it's a homemade bun, be sure to cut the bun in half. It is important to glaze both side of the bun with the Mayonnaise, followed by the Spicy Mustard. I like to take a teaspoon of each and apply it and them run the two sides of the roll together, but that is just me.
What would a veggie burger be without veggies? You want to begin building Sarah's Ultimate Veggie Burger by building layers of veggies. I like to start out by adding some of the tomatoes, then the garden lettuce, followed by the dill pickles and red onion. Red onions are notorious for being modestly strong, so to balance out the flavor, I like to add a little more tomato.
As you continue, you want to place your two slices of Havarti cheese on one side of the bun. Then, you want to add, the two slices of Cheddar cheese to the other side. By this time, your BOCA Flame Grilled Veggie Burgers should be done. You want to take one slice of Mozzarella cheese and apply it on one of the burgers and then place the burger on top. If it doesn't melt instantaneously, relax, as it will in due time. If it doesn't melt, you can microwave it for about 30 seconds max.
Take the two veggie burgers and apply them on top of the bottom area of the hamburger roll. This is the area where there are not a low of veggies. Then swiftly, you want to take both areas of the roll and put them together quickly. If you have any fall out, simply place the veggies back into the hamburger roll.
You are done! You have just made Sarah's Ultimate Veggie Burger.
