Sara's Hunger: Part Two

"I brought little Bertie out for a picnic treat. Our driver is behind schedule. Bertie, put that down!"

Startled, Bertie dropped the captive bug and retreated behind the bench to sulk.

"Oh, that little one," Mildred clucked, "he's always up to something."

"May I please have some candy, Nannie?" Bertie pleaded.

Mildred smiled at Sarah. "Yes, child." She pointed to the purse. "Get it yourself. I simply can't lift that heavy old thing."

Seizing the purse, Bertie rummaged happily for treats.

"And what keeps you out so late, my dear Ms Sarah? asked Mildred. What's the matter? No johns looking for a junkie whore tonight?"

Sarah leaped to her feet. "Who're you calling a whore, you bit..."

A rope arced around her neck, choking her words and slamming her back into her seat. In seconds, Bertie had neatly bound her to the bench.

"Let me go," Sarah screamed.

"Silence whore," Bertie hissed, pressing a dagger to Sarah's throat. He whispered to Mildred, fangs bright in the night, "Let me cut her up, Nannie, we haven't much time. Let's cut the bloody trollop and feed now!"

"Not yet, Bertie, we must be careful. Remember last time? We lost at least a liter because of your impatience." Mildred stooped to inspect the vein's in Sarah's arms. "Good, you're not a mainliner. This will be easy."
