Saratoga's Ghost!

Bryan Mader
There was a house I lived in that was built in or around World War II in a small town of Saratoga, Indiana. There is a war memorial cemetery near the house. I did some research about the war, not uncovering a lot. There had been some strange occurrences while living in the house. I remember one night waking up to see an off set bluish green human figure standing over on the side of my bed. I was a little "chicken" at the time but wouldn't you be if you seen right through something that should not be there? There was this long stair case that hugged the side of the wall. It would go from the living room up stairs. I had always gotten a weird feeling whenever I walked on that stair case. It felt like someone was behind me and wanted to push me off. So I would always hop down the case as quick as my legs could go.

One day I was doing homework upstairs, I was still in grade school. My radio changed stations by itself. Thinking nothing of it I turned my radio station back on and began working on my homework once more. I remember going outside to the garage and talking with dad about what just happened out of the blue, something to talk about. Dad was never really good about listing to other people's thoughts or opinions. I asked dad if his radio station ever changed by itself before. He replied yes. I was like okay something weird is going on here. I stayed outside for a few hours with him. While I was walking back up my room again I had a stack of paper that I had just opened for homework. Next thing I know I am seeing paper being, I would like to say blown off the desk. Not to mention a few days later my television turning on by itself mysteriously.

I had my dad's opinion already, so I went to my mom and asked hers. She replied she have been having some weird things happen, but more upstairs than down stairs. I was very happy to find out that two of the people I was living with have been seeing, and feeling things in that house that were not normal and could not be explained. At least I have some credibility about the house. With that being said, I am now ready to be called crazy.
