Saturday Night Lottery

Linda Riggs
Saturday night lottery wishes
they get me every week
They make me wish for luck
and all the treasure that I seek

I think of how much it would help
and all the good I could do
If only six numbers match up
and my luck follows through

The drawing ends
my dreams give way
I guess my turn
just wasn't today

We never have any luck with the lottery. It's nice to dream about what we could do with the money though, if we would have won. ;)

Ha! This is great. How many millions and millions of people have these thoughts every week? Fantastico.

Best be careful what you wish for... let you just might get it!

I've never liked the odds but good luck someday!

Wishing you luck. I too am trying to win the lottery (well aren't we all), but never seem to really get lucky. In England at least you can buy tickets online, and they will email you if you win. I keep hoping...

Maybe if I recite that every time I buy a ticket....I'll have good luck eventually :)

Me neither. Next week, maybe :) Cheers!
