First of all, we purchased Savannah Roman Shades on sale so they were a really great price, just $19.99 each, for 36 inch wide shades. This price was well less than half of any other price we found for similar roman shades. While the regular price for Savannah Roman Shades from JC Penney was indeed quite a bit more than the sale price, I have since visited the site on several occasions and Savannah Roman Shades always seem to be on sale. JC Penney also very often runs a free shipping deal on orders of $49 or more so we were able to take advantage of that as well.
No matter how inexpensive a roman shade is, it isn't worth anything if it is of very low quality. I will admit that my expectations for the Savannah Roman Shades from JC Penney were not exactly high. I just wanted a functional window cover that looked halfway decent. I was so pleasantly surprised with these shades! The Savannah Roman Shades are indeed very high quality. They are thick, feel very substantial, and are very attractive. Savannah Roman Shades look much more expensive than they are. The quality and richness of the polyester fabric looked much pricier than the microfiber versions we considered. Savannah Roman Shades do not require a valance or any other pieces. These shades alone great a lovely, complete window treatment.
Savannah Roman Shades from JC Penney were easy to install and are easy to operate. The cords are extremely long and could pose a hazard in homes with small children, but they can be rigged up to be out of the way. Savannah Roman Shades come in all sorts of colors, and the "camel" color we chose was a perfect neutral for our bedroom. We have enjoyed Savannah Roman Shades from JC Penney so much we have ordered a 72 inch shade for our front bay window as well, in the darker brown "espresso" color.
Savannah Roman Shades from JC Penney simply cannot be beat when it comes to both price and quality for the price. If you are looking for an inexpensive window treatment that looks nice and installs easily, Savannah Roman Shades from JC Penney may be just what you're looking for.

I'll have to check these out. We have a *lot* of windows and it is time to start thinking about replacing some of them. Thanks for a great review!
Sounds like a quality product at a great price. :-)
Sounds like a wonderful product.
Cool.
You are absolutely right about "it isn't worth anything if it's low-quality". This is SO TRUE about most home decor.
