Save $40 or More at Budget Car Rental

Michael Grisso
Keep in mind this will vary depending on if you decide to get a small or larger vehicle, but it will be well worth the savings after deciding which route to take. One of the best secrets that most people forget about is online coupons. They are virtually everywhere and you can find one for almost anything in this day and age, but you will have to do some research on your own because these companies are not going to just dangle them in front of your face.

The first thing to do is go to www.google.com and simply type in the words "budget car rental coupon codes" and almost 1 1/2 million searches will be available. I don't imagine you want to take the time to search as many of these as possible, however I would suggest that you at least try the first couple pages worth of searches to find something that will benefit your certain rental situation.

I imagine by this time you have already got an idea of how much your rental is going to cost whether you need a car for a weekend, one day, or an entire week. At the Budget Car Rental website you will find a little box that says BCD on the front page and most people just skip over because they figure it to be something for company accounts and things of that nature. Fortunately enough it is for everyone and BCD stands for Budget Customer Discount code which is where you are going to place the coupon code at when you find it.

I am going to actually give you one code right now just so you can see what it does and how much you can save on your particular rental. If you are wanting a vehicle for a three day weekend meaning Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with you returning it on Monday then place the code #X793200 in the BCD box. This code will allow you to earn the third day FREE and will cut down on the total taxes that are incurred.

Getting an economy or compact car will yield you little savings and at best about $25 depending on the accessories that you may purchase such as child seats and insurance, but if you get anything that is from the intermediate size or higher you are looking at $55 or more. To give you a brief example I chose the economy vehicle as to find the most inexpensive overall price and purchasing insurance on it at $12.99 a day the total is $98. After going back and placing the code in and then choosing the same variables the total cost became $77. Going as large as a standard size vehicle such as a Ford Explorer will cost with insurance around $240, but placing the code you will save around $80 bringing the total cost down to $160.

This is not the only coupon code however you can find various weekly and one day coupons along with certain percentage amounts off like 10%-25% for weekly rentals. Why give that money away when you can use it for gas or dinner or anything else you plan to do while you are on your getaway. Until Next Time................
