Save Your Loved Ones Ashes in an Urn that Looks like Their Head: Fox 28 News

Want Your Ashes in an Urn that Looks like You?

Shana Dines
Maybe I dreamed this but I am sure I saw this on the news this morning. You can send a couple of photos of your loved one into a company that will make an urn for your loved ones cremation remains. Honest to God I saw a ceramic head (I hope it was ceramic and it wasn't even that good looking. It had scary, starey eyes and looked like it should be on the front of a mummy thingy.) that looked like, supposedly the dead man whose remains was supposed to be kept in it for eternity.

Ken Garcia made jokes about dressing it for the holidays. Lovely ways to include your dearly departed in your holiday celebrations would be to dress them up for the occasion Imagine you could put a Halloween witch hat or mask on it for Halloween. You could dress it up as Santa Claus for Christmas. Maybe a little Indian feather headress on it for Thanksgiving. If you preferred you could put a nice Pilgram hat on it to represent the Pilgrams. Don't forget New Year's! You could put a party hat on him with party favors and a beer bottle next to him so he can welcome the New Year in with you!

No thank you. I prefer my loved ones remains to be scattered freely, although illegally across their place of preference or in a GRAVEYARD! If I would choose to keep them close to me I would want them in an urn that looks dignified and is sealed and unbreakable. I don't want to accidently knock over their urn and have their ashes fall all over me and have to sweep them up with my Kirby. Talk about nightmares!

I don't know the name of the company that is offering this rather unconventional idea but I am sure that if you are interested you can find them on the internet, assuming that I didn't dream this up. As for the Grandpa in my house, he will not find himself in an urn that looks like a scary replica of himself.

This is weird. I think I'd rather be a diamond or a reef for something out of the ordinary.
