Save Money with the Best Satellite Provider

Find the Best Satellite Provider for You and Your Family

Everyone has their favorite channels and shows they love to watch, along with also just being able to 'surf' through all the varied channels. Some of these satellite lovers wonder sometimes, though, if they may be over-paying for their service.

Paying more than $20 each month for your television programming may be unnecessary when you could cut your monthly expenses, without losing your programming, or dropping your favorite channels, by clicking here. Dish network's current new low rate offers a lot more, for a lot less money, along with one of the largest selections of HD programming. Cinemax (five channels of cinemax, that is) is available for twelve months at $0.01, and no that's not a typo!

Directv monthly rates start a little higher at $29.99/mth, although they do have DSL internet service available for an additional $49.99/mth. This offer ends 02/08/10, and has a $99 upfront equipment fee along with a $19.95 handling and delivery fee. Directv television service purchase is required in order to qualify for this DSL internet offer, and the $49.99/mth rate is for twelve months. More information about this offer from Directv can be found by clicking here.

Another satelitte provider to take a look at is voom satellite. Their prices are higher still at $39.90/mth which is a special introductory price. The monthly rate is higher, although voom features an exclusive package of brand-new, commercial-free channels such as 'worldsport', 'Epics', and 'Animania'. Voom offers 39+ HDTV channels, and you can learn more about their services by clicking here.

HughesNet satellite internet service (formerly DirecWay), is a good option for those that live in locations where DSL and cable are not available. Their high speed internet service monthly rate starts at $59.99/mth, and there are installation fees also which are outlined here.

While professional installation of the satellite TV system is quick and easy, you can also install the equipment yourself and save even more money. You first need to make sure that your home meets certain criteria to ensure that where you live is eligible to install satellite TV. It is essential that your home has a clear view of the sky to the south. Tall objects like trees or building can potentially block or degrade your signal. The dish can be mounted on roofs, chimneys, and for those that live in an apartment, also on balconies. Upon further research, it is indicated that some windows may allow the transmission of satellite signals, however it is highly recommended that the dish is mounted outdoors.

It's not always easy to find a great deal, but with a little time and patience you can take a look around and see what works best for you. Happy channel surfing!
