Save Money on Cigarettes by Making Your Own

Save Money on Cigarettes by Easily and Cheaply Packing Your Own

If you smoke, you know how the high cost of cigarettes can hurt your wallet. But it doesn't have to. There's an easy way to get your cigarettes at a fraction of the cost: make your own.

Way back, before packaged cigarettes were the norm, people had to roll their own cigarettes. You may have even seen John Travolta do this in Pulp Fiction. This is one of the options you have, but its not the best. It can be hard to roll a good cigarette. Even when you get good at it, you still suffer from not having a filter. In addition to that, your rolled cigarette may be mistaken for something illegal and get you harassed. There is an easier way to make your own cigarettes though.

The other option you have is packing your own cigarettes. A packed cigarette looks exactly like a normal cigarette and has a filter too. It doesn't take any longer than rolling a cigarette, in fact, it may even be faster. The only downfalls to packing your own cigarettes is that it's not easily portable, meaning that it's hard to do anywhere, so if you're going out and need cigarettes, you'll need to pack them in advance.

To get started making your own cigarettes cheaply, you'll first need to purchase some supplies. They should all be available at your local smoke shop, or even some convenience stores. If you can't find them in your area, they're easy to find online. The first thing you'll need is tobacco. You can purchases small packets or large cans of tobacco. I recommend the large cans, they only go for about 15 dollars a can and can make 150-200 cigarettes. That's less than half the price of the equivalent number of cigarettes. The next thing you'll need are cigarette tubes. A carton of 200 cigarette tubes only costs a few dollars. The last thing you'll need is a cigarette packing machine. These are just small plastic handheld devices that will pack the tobacco into the tubes. The machines are easy to use and come with their own instructions. You can find these cigarette packing machines for under 10 dollars.

The actual packing process is easy and doesn't take much time. I can make a cigarette in about 30 seconds. The process may differ from machine to machine, so check the instructions that come with yours.

Everything you need to make 200 cigarettes costs only about 30 dollars and a minimal amount of your time. Almost half of what you'd pay if you purchased a carton of 200 cigarettes. Subsequent purchases will be much cheaper as well, since you already have the cigarette packing machine.

You too can save over half the cost of cigarettes. It's easy to make your own cigarettes. Stop spending a small fortune on cigarettes and start making your own to save money.
