If you're in the market for a good deal on a meal in the Richmond, VA area, then look no further. Richmond has some great local restaurants where you can find delicious food with awesome service. Best of all, these meals won't break the bank.

Joe's Inn @ 205 N. Shields Avenue

Joe's Inn offers their customers great food and big portions - enough to take home for at least another meal or two. They are famous for their baked spaghetti a la Joe accompanied by yummy garlic bread. Located in the heart of the fan, Joe's Inn gets crowded with college students and fan residents alike so be prepared to wait especially on a weekend. Why the crowd? Well, their prices make it a top choice for students, families and just about anyone who wants an affordable, delicious meal.

Bogart's @ 433 N. Ridge Road

Bogart's is another famous Richmond restaurant. With sandwiches named after some of Humphrey Bogart's movies, the restaurant has great personality. The prices are very easy on the wallet too. The food is really good and the fries are terrific. The Ridge Road location provides free parking as it's tucked into the corner of a little strip mall. The atmosphere's great too - a little dim and a little dusky, just the type of place you'd find Bogie himself.

City Lights of China @ 12391 Gayton Road

Located in Richmond's West End, City Lights of China offers delicious food at a reasonable price. City Lights has great service too - the owners and staff are friendly and competent. The quantities of the food are large too; again, enough to bring home for the next day's lunch. The menu is standard Chinese fare, the meals are very tasty and did I mention the great service? City Lights delivers take-out incredibly quickly too.

River City Diner@ The Shops at Bellgrade
If you're looking for a fun restaurant atmosphere, River City Diner is perfect. It takes you back to yesterday with oldies playing on the jukebox and memorabilia from the 50's including a life size James Dean at the entrance and motorcycles on blocks above the booths. The food is really great and the service is too. On the menu, you'll find old-fashioned diner fare like Mom's meatloaf, the most amazing milkshakes and you can order breakfast all day long. Kids eat free on Wednesday nights and there's an early bird special for folks over 55 which makes the price nice too!
