"Save the Ta-Tas!"

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Save the Ta-Tas! Yes, you heard me. It's Breast Cancer Awareness month and I have found a website that adds a little fun into a not-so-fun situation. On its website, www.savethetatas.com provides the following mission "Ta-tasĀ® Brand Clothing cares about women and their families. That's why we are committed to making a significant contribution in the fight against cancer. We do this by giving 5% of our gross sales to the fight against the disease. That means, with every sale, every item, every day, all year, every year for as long as we exist, we are fighting cancer from every angle we can. And since our launch in 2004, we have given almost $100,000 to the fight against cancer. By giving 5% of our gross sales to carefully researched cancer fighting organizations we are fighting the battle on the medical front, in the community and meeting the personal needs of people struggling with the disease. Imagine a world without cancer. Imagine uttering the phrase, "I helped cure cancer." We do and you can too. Join us and help "Save the ta-tasĀ®."

What else is great is its line of clothing hitting all age groups and genders. Ok, so my Grandmother may not wear a ta-tas shirt, but you never know. Since my Mother was diagnosed, and since treated, for breast cancer I know for sure that my Grandmother would wear one. I would, and you know what - my Mom would too. So I thought it was important to bring this and other references to light in this month of pink - October. So in the "Fun" category of clothing, ta-tas offers assorted hats, buttons, stickers, key chains, magnets, mugs, koozies, lip balm, tattoos, totes, and even doggie shirts. "His" category offers mostly t-shirts, but "Hers" offers tees, tanks, spaghetti tanks, sweatshirts (guys could wear these), and a variety of styles. "Kids" offers onsies and t-shirts and there are always things on sale.
