Operating systems are, for the most part, flawless. Unfortunately for computer users, the human aspect, that is, the engineer can bring down havoc upon the flawless operating system that your computer has. Every time you use your computer, whether to install a new application, use new hardware, or use the internet, you alter the registry. The registry is a record-keeping book for your operating system. It remembers how the operating system was altered and keeps the data necessary to keep files organized and to open new applications.
As you can imagine, virtual devastation occurs when registry damage occurs. The origins of registry damage vary but are far from mysterious and, as you will see, can be easily remedied. Bad program writing is one of the common suspects and is often the culprit when it comes to registry damage. For example, if an application does not properly uninstall, the registry can be left with empty spaces and other problems. These create obstacles. When Windows comes upon these obstacles it tries to circumnavigate them. This can slow your computer down considerably. Another source for registry damage is the ubiquitous virtual infection that can result from viruses or worms. These programs make their way to the registry and alter it in order to destroy your PC.
Little can be done to stop a virtual infection if the infector gets around your anti-virus programs and firewalls. Detection is not the problem here. These infectors can be detected easily enough. However, most anti-virus programs are unable to remove them. An infection leaves behind incredible amounts of damage.
Bad hardware or problems installing new hardware are two other sources for registry damage. If during the installation process your hardware negatively affects your registry, the damage will remain even after the uninstall process has been completed.
Your registry requires a degree of attention in the same way that other components of your PC require attention. A registry cleaner is the best way to handle this problem. Registry cleaners help make certain that your registry remains reliable. When computers start to run slow or can't seem to accomplish anything other than pulling up another dialogue box, the problem is usually the registry. It is very fortunate that so many efficient PC sweepers, another name for registry cleaners, exist. Many of these can be found online for free: you simply have to find them.

Post a CommentThis was terrible, how about recommending some good registry cleaners instead of saying there out there. Easy Cleaner and CCleaner are both excellent and free. If you really want to help explain what you are talking about and then give actual programs to fix the problem.
