Saving Costs on Health Care

Genecide is the Way to Go

J P Whickson
Clear back in the campaigning days when tempers flared and logic was set at the side of the road for rhetoric, I took a hopefully unbiased view, as much as a die-hard Republican can, at the two platforms for health care reform. I used quotes from each candidate's website and analyized them. I was wrong when I examined one statement and the new healthcare bill demonstrates just how wrong I was.

The quote from the site read, "Reduce the costs of catastrophic illnesses for employers and their employees."

I mocked those words, not knowing what really was intended. The health care reform requires seniors, on their 65th birthday, to get counseling on ways to end your life. It's required every 5 years and then if you're diagnosed with a terminal disease.

Does this sound outrageous? Don't take my word for it, listen to the expert in the interview on the Fred Thompson radio Program. Besides that there's a formula that takes age into consideration when offering treatment. This means that no matter how much the senior donated to society, a 23 year old gang member that killed children, robbed stores and hurt kittens would get treatment before the hard working elderly patient. You couldn't even get treatment if you paid for it yourself. Basic health care wouldn't be given to people with incurable diseases or dementia. So, if Mom has a painful but easy to cure infection, let her die. She's old and dispensible.

Of course, the proponents of the plan say you can keep your old plan if you wish. That's not true. You'll be relegated to an HMO plan at a higher cost. Guess who's the only one that gets to keep their plans. Federal employees, including the Congress. Their lives are far more valuable...or....are they worried about what's going to happen to them after they die and want to postpone the warm environment as long as possible.

What if the senior decides they don't want the counseling? I for one, will never attend. If I did, I would be sarcastic and I'm sure, labeled as a bad seed!! Is the government going to arrest the seniors that protest in this education on self destruction? That would be a good thing. If they're all sent to prison, at least they'll get free health care.

First, the society falls when it loses touch with God. The next step is just a tiptoe away, killing it's weak and elderly.

Thanks for the comment Jan. I'm not a huge proponent of mammograms, one day I'll write an article why. However, they also changed the required PAP smear allotments too. PAP smears discover more than cancer, they discover treatable STDs and should be more frequent than the recommended "dosage" that's now lowered.

My comment wasn't exactly clear but I meant to say that senior citizens could avoid suffering from certain conditions if caught earlier. The whole health care system is such a mess!

Just had to pop in to note that since you've written this, they've also changed the rules to make things harder for women under 50 to get mammograms. While 50 may not be considered senior citizens, it is ridiculous to prohibit them for younger women. My mother got breast cancer in her 80s and might not have been allowed surgery under the new health care guidelines. She has lived past 90.

    Just popping back in! :)

Yep and after it bites it tastes like soylent green. "It's made of people, Rog, you gotta tell them!" We have a meaningless, endless amount of care now, but "apparently" there's a strong call for more.

    That really bites!

I am so disgusted with this so-called reform! It is horrid! They will be walking you and I to the edge of the volcano and pushing us in because I, too, will not be able to shut my mouth!

No way Hose am I ever going to commit suicide. I'm biplar and I've been through all those temptations because of excuciating mental pain. If they want me dead, they'll have to murder me. That way my blood will be innocent, like all the babies they've killed!
