Another great saving tip is do not buy a cake out of the grocery store bake the cake yourself, or make cupcakes. If you bake cupcakes be sure that the birthday girl, or boy get the high profile one. It can also be very fun for the kids to decorate their own cupcakes with a variety of cake icing and sprinkles.
