Saving Private Ryan is the Movie for This Generation

My date of birth is 1^st September, 1986 so I wasn't around for World War II. But I felt that cruelty of this war in a movie that is Saving Private Ryan. On my opinion this is the one of the best movie that I ever seen. And I also think that this is the greatest movie of last 20-30 years. StevenSpielberg gave us a very real test of WWII in this movie.

This movie was wonderfully written by Robert Rodat. Cinematography of this film was wonderful. Every moment of this film was heart taking. Janusz Kaminski was the Cinematographer of this movie. Sound of this movie was marvelous. Five-time Academy Award winning composer John Williams gave this memorable and realistic sound in the movie. With these three talented creative men and with association of others Steven Spielberg made one of the greatest movies of American film history. He also claimed that this is the best movie of his entire carrier.

This was a movie with a budget of 70 million USD. In this movie the title role played by Matt Demon and the leading role played by Tom Hanks. This movie is a fiction story that plotted on WWII. From the title of this movie it comes to know that have to save Private Ryan. Capt. John H. Miller (Tom Hanks) and his seven soldiers sent for a mission to bring back Private James Francis Ryan (Matt Demon). The reason of this mission was other three brothers of James Francis Ryan died in several combat. He is the last one who is probably alive. Army Chief send a troupes to find Ryan back if he is alive. Cause he is the last hope for his mother. Capt. John H. Miller lost his two men till he fined Ryan. At last of the film Capt John. H. Miller lost three more soldiers among them one was a very sharp sniper and at the finish he also died in combat. But he also successes to won hi last combat of his life and also success to save Private Ryan. This was not a war against the Nazi. But it was a part of the war and it shows a great humanity. In this mission those eight brave soldiers consider six lives to save one. In this movie there was a dialogue something like that "when you see to die one of your soldiers then you save 10 or 20 times of lives of others".

This was the most successful movie of 1998. This movie got 5 Academy Award during this year and nominated for eleven categories. Steven Spielberg got Academy Award for Best Director. He was well deserved for this honor because the opening scene of this movie was unforgettable. The combat at Omaha Beach was so real. This scene was filmed at Ireland. It took $11 million USD and 1000 extra artist to shoot this realistic scene. Among the extras there were some Irish Army personnel. Empire magazine ranked this scene as the "best battle scene of all time" and it was ranked#1 by the TV Guide's list of greatest 50 movie moments. That movie also got huge critic respond. With $485 it became third highest grossed movie of 1998. This movie re-released on February, 1999 and got great respond from audience. This movie also got respond on Home Video products; this movie earned about $40 million from VHS and sold 1.5 million DVDs.

Now this is the turn to say about the meaning of my title of this content. Why I am saying that this is the movie for our generation. The reason is that after few years we will lead the world. Some of us will be president and prime minister. This movie contents many violent scene of war. But the real war was more violent then this one. We should take sworn that when we take the empowerment of our beautiful world we will never let our world to be a battle field. We will take care of this only green planet of this universe. Hats off to those brave soldiers who died in the battle field of WWI and WWII. We got a peaceful world for their life. We will never let them down. Never forgot their consideration and we never let happened WWIII. It that happened then there will be no green planet in this universe.

Many of us don't like war movies. But I insist all of them who don't like war movies please try to watch such type of movies. Specially Saving Private Ryan because this movie comes with a factious story but on a real style you will like it. So this is message for those who didn't saw this movie yet. Now go to DVD shop and bring one and watch it now and take the sworn for better world for us.
