Saw 3D: The Seventh in the Series

The other day I saw the seventh Saw movie in 3D. As far as the Saw movies go, I feel it was one of the weaker ones, but it had enough pain and plot twists that it definitely kept me interested. The 3D didn't hurt either. That was pretty cool. I wear glasses, so the extra glasses on my own glasses bugged a bit, but I was over it pretty quickly.

The movie features a crooked cop, a hot chick, fraudulent folks making money off Jigsaw victims, a lot of pain and an unexpected hero at the end. The scenes that took full advantage of the three-dimensional technology were super awesome. It had been quite a few years since I had seen anything in 3D. The new clear style glasses sure are better than the old red and blue jobs.

The ending of the flick suggested that this will in fact be the final Saw movie, as has been claimed. I hate to see the series go, but all good things must come to and end I suppose. All in all, this author gives Saw 3D a thumbs up. It's everything a horror/thriller/suspense movie should be, and more. The acting is even decent.I can't really say much more without giving plot away, but the movie was really cool. Some theaters have it in two-dimensional, regular format, but if you haven't seen the new technology I would sport the extra cash and see the 3D version. It really has come a long way.
