Sayid and Ben? What?!

Avery Ryan
POSSIBLE SPOILERS! Some thoughts, theories and questions that "LOST" leaves us with.

So, now we know that Sayid is one of the Oceanic 6. We definitely know Jack, Hurley, and Sayid get off. The odds are Kate is a part of the Oceanic 6 too, even though she has not officially been revealed as part of the Oceanic 6. We find out one more next week - I got the impression that it will be Kate from the preview, but who knows. We have two more to figure out. I am still thinking Jin and Sun, so they can have the baby.

Why does Ben have all those passports and money from all over the world in that room in his house on the island? Can Ben leave the island?

So, it seems as though Ben can leave the island from Sayid's flash-forward. However, why does he need to leave the island? He makes it seem like he is very content living on the island. Possibly, Ben leaves the island to help protect it - which is definitely, what it seemed like when he was talking to Sayid about protecting his friends. Maybe Ben's real goal is to protect the island. That could explain the passports and the money in that room. So he can get where he needs to go if and when he decides to leave the island. One of the things I wanted to know was what were the names on all of those passports Ben had - what aliases does he use? Also, before Ben made it seem like the subway was the only way off the island - so, how can he get off? Maybe he, too, has these "powers" like Walt seems to have.

Why is Sayid working for Ben in the flash-forward? What is Sayid doing for Ben?

Sayid is working for Ben to protect his friends - I am assuming they mean his friends on the island. It seems like Sayid has become a hit man, going after specific people. However, who are these people? What do they want? I think these people are after the island - possibly connected to the so-called "rescuers" who have some other agenda besides rescuing them.

Who was the girl Sayid met in Berlin? Whom does she work for?

Obviously, Sayid was really after her boss. But she was also on to Sayid. Could she be working for the man who says he is from Oceanic Airlines who asked Hurley if "they are still alive" and who hired Naomi for a mission? He seems to know something is up.

What did Daniel Faraday realize about the very late reaction to his experiment?

It seems like he thought something was very weird, when his experiment happened about 30 minutes late, especially when he made sure to tell Frank to stay on the same bearings when leaving the island and coming back. Could this be telling us something about the magic of the island? Could it tell us something about the electromagnetism on the island, since Daniel is a physicist? Or maybe it could explain part of why the island is hard to get to, or hard to find.

Since Desmond is off to the boat with Sayid in the helicopter, could he get off the island too? Why was Naomi carrying a picture of Desmond and Penelope?

Knowing that Desmond was headed off the island to the boat with Sayid, Frank and Naomi's body on the helicopter, could this mean that Desmond will get off the island? I think it is very possible, especially since Naomi had a picture of him and Penny - which just leads to even more questions, but it looks like we may find out some of those answers soon. Possibly these "rescuers" are associated with the Widmore companies. We know that it is not Penny's boat. But how did they know that Desmond could be there? Desmond does have reason to get off the island - to be with Penny. And he would not be considered part of the "Oceanic 6" either, so there would still be room for two more in the "Oceanic 6."

Why couldn't Locke find Jacob's hut?

Maybe Jacob's hut can only be found when needed. It seems as though it can appear where and when it wants to. Hurley found it when he was lost, and he knew that where Locke was leading them was not where he found it. Could this mean Hurley is "special" too? Possibly Jacob did not want the rest of them to find out where is hut is.

Just some more thoughts, questions, and theories about "LOST." Feel free to leave your thoughts, theories, and questions. More to come.
