Scams That Made Me Stop Watching Television

The advertisement for SMC merchandise is a scam. They want you to sign up for free information then they call you the next day and they want you to become a member in order to get their information.

What I went through was a lady called me and sounded very professional from the promotions department for this company. She told me about the silver and gold membership which the silver one is what I picked because it was all I could afford at the time.

To even get their free information you have to pay a 39.95 fee first off then you have to pay 39.95 for 11 months after that. I paid it because the lady gave me the website to the BBB because they are on there as well as on TV. Their spokes person for the TV commercials is Tom Bosely off of Happy Days.

Just because there is a famous person on the TV commercial does not mean that it is for real. In this case it is the total opposite.

In my case I paid the 39.95 fee for the start up kit because I do not have a job and am not able to find one because no one is hiring in my part of the world. I was desperate for any kind of money coming in to help out the family finances. Boy was I wrong. They send you this kit and if you do not like it within the time frame they say of 30 days they will refund part of you money.

So I called and canceled it because I read on the BBB page they have so many bad reviews about them. Too bad I didn't read them before giving them my credit card information.

Anyways, I called to cancel my order and the guy on the other end of the phone told me that they have no account for and I told them if you took my credit card number, then you should have an account on me, but all they could do was tell me to call back in like 4 days. So I called my credit card place and told them I want the payments stopped so they could not take any more money off my credit card.

I have to fill out all this paper work for something stupid like this. I should have been smarter than doing this but I was only trying to make some money to help out my family finances.

Do not trust any work at home job unless you have worked for a company that you know is ligit. Take it from me it is so hard to live up to what you have done. Everything that you have worked so hard for in your life may just be in someone else's pocket on down the line because they are nothing but thiefs.

Work at home jobs off the internet is a BIG SCAM. Do not get sucked in like I did . Be more careful that I was please.
