Scarface's Made Sees Rapper at Top of His Game

Rapper Scarface is a legend in the rap game. He is a founding member of one of the best groups in hip hop, The Geto Boys. Along with that he has had a very popular solo career, which has led to him being one of the most respected Southern rappers in the game. Now Scarface is back with his new album, Made. Will Made be able to further Scarface's legacy?

The first single off of Made is Never. The song features a 70's soul sample and is definitely one of the best tracks on the album. The beat is incredibly catchy which it's retro vibe. Scarface proves that he is one of the best lyricists in the game on this track.

The second single off the album is Big Dogg Status featuring Wacko from Juvenile's UTP clique. The song is fairly catchy and features a very commercial beat. It is surprising to hear Scarface spit over a track like this but he delivers very strong sixteen bar verses. Wacko adds little ad-libs throughout the chorus which really do not add that much to the track.

The Nottz produced Girl You Know is one of the better tracks on the album. It definitely has a 70's feel to it. The sample used on the track is incredibly catchy and Scarface delivers a series of very strong verses. The song features a very interesting metaphor relating to the Garden of Eden.

Burn features fellow Houston native Z-Ro. Scarface is one of the best storytellers in the game and this song proves it. Scarface tells the story of killing a man for no reason. You can get so many visual images off of Scarface's haunting lyrics.

Boy Meets Girl features Tanya Herron. The song once again has a distinctively 70's vibe to it. The song is once again a story telling what happens when a boy falls in love with a girl. The song starts with the boy's story then the second verse is the girls' story. The third verse talks about the couple's untimely demise.

Who Do You Believe is one of the best tracks on the album. The song finds Scarface rapping over a simplistic yet catchy beat. You can hear the difference between Scarface and most of current day mainstream rap on this track.

Made is another solid effort from the Houston, Texas, rapper Scarface. Scarface always is known as one of the best rappers in the game and this album is no different. Overall Made gets 7.5 out of 10. If you are a fan of Scarface make sure you pick up his new album Made when it is available in stores on December 4.
