Scarlett Johansson might be dating Jason Sudeikis! So is Scarlett Johansson the reason he split with January Jones?

Well, the two certainly have found great replacements for their significant others if they are dating, as Life & Style reports. Like rom-com star Ryan Reynolds, SNL star Jason Sudeikis is a tall, dark and handsome guy with a sense of humor, and, like January Jones, Scarlett Johansson is one of Hollywood's hottest blonde bombshells (she and January Jones even share the distinction of getting press for wearing a cleavage-bearing red dress on the red carpet). But is there a possibility that Scarlett Johansson is the reason that Jason Sudeikis and January Jones split?

People reported that the long distance was the reason for their breakup, and that they've been on-again, off-again for some time now. So it is possible that they were off when Scarlett Johansson starred on SNL last November. And since Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds separated in December (also citing time apart as a reason for doing so), it looks like something naughty could have been going on!

But of course this all pure speculation, and Scarlett Johansson's rep has already denied that she's not dating Jason Sudeikis and that the two are just friends (just like Sandra Bullock denied that she's dating Scarlett Johansson's ex). However, Life & Style maintains that it did appear like she was on a double date with Jason Sudeikis.

And perhaps the starlet and SNL star are just single and ready to mingle. Jason Sudeikis was spotted out with a brunette late in December, and Scarlett Johansson apparently got the attention of plenty of guys at Jeremy Renner's 40th birthday bash, including Kevin Connolly and Leonardo DiCaprio. Newly single Jake Gyllenhaal was also reported flirting with her during a Golden Globes after-party (don't tell Taylor Swift; she might take a page from Katy Perry and get inspired by Scarlett Johansson to write a song).

So with so many options after a recent split, why settle now? When stars are spotted out and described by publicists as "just friends", I always get the feeling that they're just up to something else, and variety is the spice of life.
