Scary

Casey
The wind whips the trees violently

Just as hard as my mind twists and turns

No job no job no job

Should I go back to college

Should I try to pursue my dreams

Becoming a professional writer

Having a book of my poetry published

Or my other lifelong dream

Alaska

I'm sure everyone will doubt my abilities either way

Just like they did when I told them I finish concrete

Well I showed them then I'm sure I can show them now

I just got to get out of this slump

It seems the weather emanates my moods

Dark drizzling and winds blowing hard

Sometimes there is no hope in me

This world is going to hell in a handbag

And there's not a damn thing I or anyone else can do

First they've taken out freedom of speech

Then our right to assemble

Next it will be our guns

It literally gives me goose bumps to think of these things

Everyone says it'll never happen

That it's all the paranoid people talking

Do a little research and watch Canadian news

You'll see some scary stuff

Just my mind going over and over

Thinking of all this craziness

Yup, society is in a spiraling downfall. Going down the toilet for sure. Keep sharing your thoughts...you'll see how many of us agree!
