This site has some absolutely beautiful Halloween pumpkin carving stencils. They are easy and quick, but the effects will look stunning when they are lighted from the inside. As you can see they have a variety of stencils in each group, but even the advanced looks easy, they just have more cut outs on them.

This website offers carving tips and a pumpkin carving kit you can purchase, but what I like is that the Halloween pumpkin carving stencils are on PDF, and all you have to do is print them out or save the file so can use it for next year. And at the bottom of the pattern are illustrated drawings on how to tape the stencil to the pumpkin, how to carve it out, and the end product. Can you believe pumpkin carving patterns from HGTV? Well I can't, but they are pretty neat and look really easy to do. You can print them out from the PDF right online, and if you scroll down, you will see the prepping and carving instructions.
