Are you looking for a stylish way to fragrance your home? Try Scentchips home fragrance and your house will delight your senses. Scentchips is a fabulous company that offers scented wax chips in the shape of leaves and flowers (or candy depending on how you look at them). They started in San Antonio, TX over 25 years ago and they are still going strong with a plethora of stores. Scentchips uses the finest ingredients on the market and has literally hundreds of combinations you can create depending on your mood or time of year.

How to Use Scentchips
Scentchips can be used in a variety of ways. If you prefer not to use electricity you may use tea light candles to melt your Scentchips in a decorative simmering pot. If you don't like the idea of buying candles on a regular basis, consider buying a beautiful decorative electric burner. Scentchips even has electric burners that look like lamps and guess what? The electric burners are lamps. The smaller ones are fabulous night lights and the larger burners are perfect to light a room but regardless of the size, they all have dimmers so you can choose the strength of the scent you want as well as the amount of light.

Scentchips has a variety of burners including holiday, metal, ceramic, glass, and even holders with cute themes (e.g. holidays, animals). Scentchips can even be used without a burner as potpourri as each chip is fragranced, and that aroma will last for over five years. Each Scentchips store orders their own burners, so if you don't see one you like at one store, try another one. The Scentchips' scent can be carried up to 3,000 square feet away.

You can sniff and buy individual Scentchips or pre-packaged blends like Island Delight which consists of pineapple, strawberry and lime. Or try a relaxing aromatherapy blend with eucalyptus, lavender, and rain. You name it, they have it. Scentchips even has gift baskets which combine burners with tea lights and fragrance blends. My Scentchips Experience
I first spotted a Scentchips store while visiting Fredericksburg in the Texas Hill Country. I had never heard of Scentchips but was drawn in by the enticing scents. When the manager saw that my husband and I had our dog with us, they told us he was welcome inside the store. Needless to say, we were thrilled as was our dog who received lots of attention. The manager took the time to explain the history of Scentchips to us and I then selected my favorite scents to fill a six ounce box. We enjoyed our Scentchips experience but were disappointed that there was no Scentchips in Houston, TX at that time, but as luck would have it, there is now.

Scentchips Rice Village
A Scentchips is now open in Rice Village and another one is about to open in Old Town Spring. Unfortunately the glass holder I had purchased in Fredericksburg broke (which was my own fault) so I was over-the-moon that I would have an opportunity to get a new one in Houston, TX so close to my home. The owner, Marty Graham, was extremely helpful and offered to give me a new piece of glass even though I didn't have the base with me. I decided to buy a new base instead and he convinced me to buy an electric plug-in. That worked for me because the plug-ins were gorgeous and I found an orange/brown one that went beautifully with our home décor.

Once again, I broke the glass that held the Scentchips so I went back to the store in Rice Village. This time I was greeted by the new employee who was not only helpful but replaced my glass piece for free. The customer service at Scentchips in Houston, TX is outstanding. I was told that my glass kept breaking because I used too many Scentchips at once (which is easy to do since they smell so darn good). I was shown exactly how many large Scentchips and how many large Scentchips should go in the plug-in warmer as to not break the glass in the future.

I can't recommend Scentchips enough. The service is wonderful, the products are incredible, and the prices are very reasonable. I use scent-free everything - my asthma can't deal with lots of scents.
