Scentsy Flameless Candle Review

I've been looking for a good flameless candle forever. I've bought them in the mall, the drugstore, and online; but frankly, none of them ever impressed me enough to buy again. Yet, I couldn't give up my search for the perfect flameless candle.

The soft glow of a candles and their wonderful scents appeal to me, but I'm afraid of house fires. My father was a firefighter back in the days when country folk had volunteer firemen. When calls came over the squawk box, if you were closer to the fire than the firehouse, you just met the truck at the fire. So here I was, on my way home from ballet class, and my dad veered off to fight a house fire, me in tow. Let's just say it makes you grow up with more than a healthy respect for fire. But back on topic... I want everything a candle has to offer, except the flame.

Scentsy was completely new to me when I saw one of my Facebook friends selling them. I hate to buy a product sight unseen, but eventually my quest for a good flameless candle won out, and I ordered.

It's hard to know what to order from looking at a website, so after surfing the Scentsy site a few times I ordered a full-size candle with a holiday angel motif. It's even harder to choose a scent when you haven't smelled it, so I took my best guess on that, too. There are two sizes, so it made sense for me to order the smaller size the first time. The small size, or bars, are $5 each or three for $14, so I ordered three.

I choose the Christmas tree scent because I figured it would be a safe bet, and I really love the scent of pine during the holiday season. I also ordered Twilight, because the description: "A lovely, sophisticated scent, infused with soft romantic florals and ocean air", sounded good to me. I also ordered Citrus Sun Tea because my teenage son loves citrus iced tea and his bedroom usually smells like a locker room. I ordered on-line on a Sunday night, and when I pulled in the driveway after work that Friday, I was excited to see the Scentsy package on my porch!

When I took the Scentsy warmer out of the box I couldn't believe the size of it! It was a lot bigger than I expected. I didn't want to cheap-out and buy the smaller size, but I think the smaller size would work very well in bathrooms and bedrooms.

The angel warmer is beautiful! It's very solid quality, and when you turn it on it glows beautifully. It's almost like it changes colors a little bit. It's gorgeous! I also like that it has a little on and off switch on the cord.

The first scent I tried was Twilight, and I loved it. It reminded me of a fresh, clean smell; and that's exactly what I love. (Even my husband liked it!) We were both very impressed with how much scent it gave off- and I only put two of the little cubes in the warmer. (They are seven cubes in the Scentsy bar.) When I tried the Citrus Sun Tea in my son's room, he and his friend said it smelled "mad good".

I would definitely order Scentsy again. As a matter of fact, I can't wait to order more warmers- eventually I'll have one in every room! I'm sure at some point I'll have a favorite Scentsy scent, but right now there are at least ten more scents on my short list.

Scentsy flameless candles are perfect to buy as a gift, even better to buy as a treat for yourself! I give Scentsy a 10 out of 10.
