Scholarships for Hispanics, How to Get a Full Ride

Fabian Ramirez
You do not have to be an athlete to receive a full ride through college. No, you didn't misread that. In fact, let me share it a little bit differently. You can go to college full time and get your tuition paid for without having to play any sports.

I'm Hispanic and I know how hard it is to receive money to attend college, especially if you were not an honor student through high school. When I finished my undergrad and my graduate work I do so without any student loans. I say this because Hispanics are quick to take out student loans instead of doing a little research on how to receive scholarships for Hispanics.

A little of your time can literally pay you thousands in the long run and over the years. You do not want to be in your thirties and forties still paying minimum payments on your student loans. Instead you can invest that money and become wealthy sooner and even retire sooner.

Nobody is out there showing Hispanics how to receive free grant money; I know this for a fact. People are only going to tell you that because you were born Hispanic that you are going to receive money and that is not true; you must do your research in order to get paid.

So start applying for schools because I know you are going to receive a full ride because now you know that it's possible for you to do so. I also know that you have it in you to follow through with knowing the process of receiving scholarships for Hispanics. Once you have done it once, you can do it a thousand times but hopefully you will only have to fill out several applications.

Truth is your criteria will fit into a scholarship on a certain website but which one will you qualify for and how will you go about applying for that grant. The answers are at your fingertips.

Start by adding your info into the Fastweb database and write down names of Hispanic Grants that are available. My degree was paid for by Hispanic scholarships.

This is not racist. I as an Hispanic; it is easier for me understand the limitation one has when pursuing higher level education. Besides, it is not just Hispanics that has this same opportunities, many other races have their own scholarships just for them. Why would we be ashamed when there's someone to help us. I am sorry that you can not understand that.

If people really get money to go to college by being a certain race that's just being racist. People should be ashamed of themselves by even being involved in this.
