School Life

samaira
What a life it was?
With no tensions and flaws.

Teacher taught us questions on calculating taxi fares,
But we were involved in our own affairs.

Teacher taught us, money give and take,
But we used to think of lunch break.

She taught us how the syllabus will be covered,
And we thought, when will this boring lecture going to be over.

Now I realize what it was,
Sitting with friends so close.

I miss my school and my friends,
And think why school life came to an end.

I went back to 'school' in my late thirties to take a degree. Four years of 'school life' alongside being a mother, housewife and my work. I look back and wonder how I fit it in but it was great as I was able to help my children with their school work by applying what I was learning about doing essays/assignments/tests etc to their work. I LOVED it. Made some great friends and enjoyed 'school' even more as a mature adult. :)

I loved school too. I'd love to go back and learn something entirely new. Great job!

I always enjoyed school. I was sad to leave, but happy to be continuing my education when I got to university.
