Science Fiction: The Centridobot Infiltration

"Humans, what are they?" said the ethereal being to his colleague. "They were an anatomical species that lived on a planet millions of years ago, the only reason we know of them is from physical artifacts they left floating in space, and remnants of their space operations. Some say they were our ancestors but the consensus is to dismiss this as we are so different from them. It's not in our nature to associate ourselves with such heretical beings. The myth goes something like this"

"Long before we developed the ability to transcend dimensions our species was also physical like humans. Some say we merely regained an ability we had lost but it's not known. They based their time on the movement of their star around their planet for some time before galactic inter-dimensional time was even known to exist and they were highly motivated by cultural ethos. The humans were complex but quite simple to understand in the grand scheme of things as they were predictable in their unpredictability, social problems, habits, goals and aspirations. They often repeated the same patterns of behavior for millennium. For example, after a giant leap in technology one millennium, they would forgot the spiritual leaps of the millennium before. For many of their cultures the historical memory was short terms you see, without horizons or continuity. Sometimes they got lucky and actually evolved as some humans understood the past and sought a new future by amending history with real advancement and brought the rest of humanity along with them. They colonized distant planets, established order and quality of life, allowed hope to exist, and gave humans their dignity back. Eventually however, the human's physical limitations caught up with them before the physical universal cataclysm. It is said nothing material escaped the unforeseen event and only other world entities endured. However, for some reason beings like us either evolved into more advanced ethereal beings or the humans advanced into us. It was so long ago and before great galactic turmoil that this happened little evidence exists to prove what really happened."

Just then a time portal opened as if from nowhere and out walked a human many millenia ago. "Where am I he said." Neither of the ethereal beings understood what he had said but they knew he was indeed a human and the myth was true. The strange thing was the coincidence with which this event happened. It was all too perfect and the beings new this, they determined something was awry and proceeded to analyze the human and his equipment. After many hours of thought experiments and astral-technical cross calibrations the beings determined there was a fractional dysfunction of the time device used by the human to the 1000th degree. It was small enough to be written off as a mere possibility or chance but the chance it wasn't was too great. That is to say, if it wasn't a human time machine it would show up in that very same fractional difference left to chance and that would mean the centridobots had infiltrated the ethereal time space continuum.

Suddenly the 'human' transmutated and became Borandobocto-Mantamo, a well known and much feared centridobot from the 5YH sector of the Eladodomere435 universal district. But it was too late, Maxo and Dobodang had been anti-ethered before they could respond with their being enhancement plugs. The centridobots had infiltrated the ethereal dimension.
