Science Fiction Writing & Illustration Publishing Project for Kids
Guide for a Parent, Teacher, or Other Supervising Adult
Planet HYPNOT, the Green Planet, is the basis for a Science Fiction Writing & Illustration Publishing Project for participation by young children supervised by a parent, teacher, or other adult. HYPNOT is the planet designated WDB227.1 in star system "SHINE" located in spiral galaxy NGC1300. Kids can invent planetary features or lifeforms, illustrate them with drawings, write stories about them, and name them. Authors have automatic naming rights if their story or illustration is published. They can have attribution by pen name or partial name so that they can recognize themselves in print, but they cannot be contacted through the publication channel. Digital safety is the prime concern. The writing project is sponsored by the Science Fiction Shop at the XS MEGA-Shops.
