Sciencewiz DNA Science Kit - Product Review

My oldest son is really into the whole science thing, and I have been trying to find things that are worth supporting his hobby. It has been a hard journey, but it has finally come to an end. I bought the Sciencewiz DNA Science Kit through Masetmindtoys for $15 and so far everything is great. My son runs home every single day to play with it and that makes me even more satisfied as a parent.

There are things that I love about the Sciencewiz DNA Science Kit, too many to list but I will try to give you a few ideas of why I love it.

Description

The Sciencewiz DNA Science Kit teaches your child about biology through experimentation. Your child learns all about DNA and how it works, as well as how to sterilize properly.

Pros

When it comes to the Sciencewiz DNA Science Kit, everything about it was great. It's a biology book packed away in a box. The thing that I like the most about this science kit is that it helps my son to understand the concept behind DNA and how it works. I consider it to be molecular biology at it's best and every child should have one of these.

Another thing I like about this science kit is that they can build double helixes through sample DNA and solve chromosome puzzles. Outside of all the experimenting, the Sciencewiz DNA Science Kit comes with a 40 page book that explains different ways to experiment with DNA. I appreciate the book because without it, we were guaranteed to run out of ways to play with it.

Cons

The only thing I would consider to be a con is the choking hazard part. This isn't a great item to have considering the fact that I have small children running around the house. My youngest one got a hold to one of the pieces and put it in his mouth. Luckily we got it out before he started to choke. But still it wasn't a fun experience at all.

My conclusion?

If you have a child who is interested in science then you might want to invest a few bucks into the Sciencewiz DNA Science Kit. It helps them understand different concepts pertaining to science and DNA. It's educational, cheap and all around fun. I enjoy watching my son play with it, not only does he learn but I learn as well.
