Scientific Power Gone Wrong - Is the Mark of the Beast Coming Soon?

Sarah Rachel
Over the years genetic engineering has expanded to a point where scientists have found over 100,000 different human genes. There are so many different DNA instructions making the human race truly unique. Human beings are made of up so many complex cells. There are billions of cells in the human body and each cell has a specific job. There are cells for the heart, brain, kidneys, skin and just about anything that makes up the human body. A human being is a complicated machine. Even though family members are alike they are also truly unique because there are so many different genes and some genes tend to skip generations. As technology has expanded new fields of study have been born, such as genomics. According to Mary H Cooper, Author of Human Genome Research, "Genome research has greatly expanded a relatively new field of study called genomics, the study of genes and their function in health and disease." Some people feel as though scientists have too much power and there is some concern over how this power is used and who has access to it.

Scientists now have the ability to put all the genetic information for one human being on a single chip, which they want to implant inside people. Some of these high profile doctors claim that the computer chips will be used for the good of the human race, but I have to disagree. These people say that a person's life can be saved because doctors can quickly access the medical information inside the chip, if a person is unconscious. In most cases medical information is not likely to save someone's life at the drop of a hat, and there is a less risky alternative to having a chip implanted underneath the skin. There are medical bracelets that people can wear if they are allergic to certain medications or have a particular disease or medical condition.

In addition to recording medical information the chips also have GPS tracking abilities. Not only does this violate a person's privacy, but the chips could also be used to control people in the future. Yes, I know that sounds like something out of a science fiction novel but they already have the chips in place, and scientists are developing the technology to use these chips to influence the thoughts and actions of human beings, taking away their free will. If this was in the wrong hands people could be influenced to do horrible things. Whoever is controlling the chips could force people to become slaves with their decision making. For instance, people may be told to buy certain things that they normally wouldn't buy in order to make the fat cats in control richer. According to prophesy in the bible, the mark of the beast will be a devise implanted in someone's hand or forehead, and that people will not be able to buy or sell without it. Really think about what's going on because this could happen in our lifetime. Refuse to take the chip, no matter what the cost! Read the bible and understand that those who take of this mark will be taken out of the book of life. It is far better to refuse the mark and pass away than to lose your eternal salvation.

I actually try not to write about religion or politics very often because of debates like this. Have a wonderful day! :)

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. I am actually not part of an organized religion- (we are non denominational) and I actually got to church on Saturday. I don't celebrate Christmas or other holidays that are more about man, than they are about God. I do believe that the bible is the written word of God. I have always been a practical person and I've studied the bible for years. I believe God inspired man to write this book. It is amazing to see how one scripture from 1000 years before, connects to another written thousands of years after. There are many prophesies in the bible, such as the One world government and currency which is happening. Go to youtube and type in New World Order, or one world currency. I don't know for certain if the chip is the mark of the beast, I am just saying that it could possibly be. There is a lot that we don't know and you are right about that. However, I have faith and I do have certain beliefs just as you do. I actually try not to write about

Haha, that gave me a good laugh.

While your right about it not being a good idea for us to have those kinds of chips in our body. It has NOTHING to do with your little fairy tale book "The Bible".

There has been many religions throughout time. The Bible is no more truthful than any other. And thus has no validity due to that fact. Plus it steals from other religions. You talk about not wanting to be controlled, yet you've let yourself be ensnared by one of the biggest population control schemes ever devised, Religion.

We don't know what's after death for sure, we don't know FOR SURE how everything started. But that's no reason to believe in a story from only 2000 years ago. Open your mind and try and brake free from the brainwashing that's been laid upon you. Anyone with some common sense and logical thinking can see that any organized religion is a blatant hoax.
