Hate Speech Hiding Under the Cover of Religion
Have you seen this website? If not please go take a long hard look. Its hate speech disguised as protecting all religions. It should outrage you and disgust all who read it.
Religious Freedom Watch pretends to be for all religions, yet to any reader its clear its a site meant to slam those who dare speak out against Scientology. They give little info on every religion except for Scientology which seems to take up most of the space.
They warn readers about certain people. In fact they warn readers about 35 different people. Yet each one of these people are critic's of Scientology. 35 people who's only real crimes are that they were brave enough to speak out against the actions of Scientology.
Even what they do print is full of half truths and out right lies.
Church's and other religious buildings are attacted every year. Many are hurt or even killed by those who attact them over their religion. Why are there no listings for the people who attact other religion's on this site?
This web site is part of what Scientology calls " Fair Game". Google " Scientology Fair Game" and you will get over 600,000 hits on the subject. Then look at this site again. Its Fair Game at its worse.
Read this site that's lists your religion by name as if you were are part of it. Ask yourself if you want your religion or church tied to this extreme and hateful site. Because it is hate speech. Ask yourself if you want to be connected to speading lies about people you have never heard of.
Does your faith tell you to do this to people if they disagree with you? Would you put this kind of site up to hurt the ex members of your chuch who saw something wrong and wished to change it for the better?
This hate site doesn't defend its views, its only reason to exist is to trash and hurt people who disagree with them.
Scientology doesn't believe in turning the other cheek, they believe the only free speech is their free speech They believe in destroying those who dare to speak out against them. There are many public and court records that have proven this time and time again.
Are you going to quietly sit and do nothing while a group that claims to be a church behaves this way? Have we learned any lessons from the past 65 years?
Let Scientology know how you feel about this site. Let the members of your church know someone is hurting people under the disguise of religion yet again.
Freedom of Religion doesn't give anyone or any group freedom to do wrong. And this site is very wrong.

Post a CommentYou don't make a plural with an apostrophe. That should be rabbis, not rabbi's and pastors, not pastor's. This kind of illiteracy will stop people from taking you seriously. Honestly, that is first grade English.
So, it appears that there is a GREAT deal of effort from the CoS to BLOCK what they consider "unwanted" visitors of this web page. When I went to explore it for myself, FIREFOX took a very long time to state that I could not connect to the particular server; http://www.religiousfreedomwatch.org
I went to an anonymous proxy server, plugged in the URL, and then I was immediately allowed to visit the site. I find it odd that they block potential sources of income. These guys are beyond crazy.

Hi Jean, We are going to disagee on what good Hubbard ever did. There have been some great studies and stories that show Hubbard ripped of the works of other writers in the book you post about here. Have you seen the xenu sites at xenu.net and xenutv.com ? I agree with you that the members of scientology are for the most part good people trying to live a good life. But they also refuse to see the evil this group does as a whole. Not that they can't see it, they won't even look. They have net nannies on their computers and are told that hearing bad things about scientology or finding out about upper levels can make you sick, insane or even kill you. They are good people promoteing an evil cult. Can we still call them good people at that point?
(Sorry, my previous comment was cut. Too long I guess. Here is the suite.) I would like to point out that "They" does not design all scientologists alike. Many are of good faith, especially the newcommers. However I could observe that, once promoted to higher positions in their Church, they were sent to a school (where no public is ever admitted) and came back endoctrinated and robotised. LHR did many good things in his "tech" (HCOBs), but he was certainly way out on Policy (HCOPLs) and Ethics! And although I recommand some of his findings (like the PTS/SP course), I would not wish membership in Scientology to my worst ennemy!
Thanks for this article Jerald. When I first heard of LRH, it was from Dianetics, whic I think is a good book, well in advance of its time. Then LHR's PTS/SP tech was copied and used in many centers that help the abused and oppressed. Many forms of modern therapy borrowed from it. There are good things from LRH. This is what attracted me to volunteer in Scientology. I never was a staff however because I could then see how unethical this group is towards the families of its members. Members are invited to quit everything to join the Sea Org with a contract of... ONE MILLON YEARS!!! (They beleive in reincarnation.) Families were broken, members invited to treason towards their spouses and children. They were invited to sell their houses and get deeply onto debts to become preclears, then clears, then OT1, OT2 etc. They have very precise definitions to what is a "Suppressive person" but they freely declare SP anyone who disagrees wuth them. It's funny to think that RLH started Scientology as a business and it became a religion afterward. Even if one really gets fufillment from it, the history of this organization should turn anyone off.
