Sci-Fi's Ghost Hunters and Ghost Hunters International: The Same Premise, but Definitely Different Shows
While some of the cast (Brian, Donna, and Andy) from the original Ghost Hunters television show have crossed over to the international version, the show just does not seem to be the same. The format of the show has not changed, but the strong personal relationships with each other that the original Ghost Hunters show's cast has with each other seems to be lacking. By this, I mean there appears to be no relaxation during investigations and there constantly seems to be a sense of "seriousness" in the air at all times. Call me spoiled, but I also like to see the personal interactions that Jason, Grant and Steve have with each other. I also look forward to seeing investigations with Dave and Dustin, as they always seem to hold my attention.
For this reason, while Ghost Hunters International seemed like a good concept, I would have preferred that the original team starred in the series themselves. Of course, with Steve's self-professed fear of flying, that would be impossible, unless he ventured to Europe by boat. Unfortunately, this did not happen, and as a loyal Ghost Hunters viewer and DVD purchaser, I have to remain loyal to that show, and that show only. The idea for Ghost Hunters International did seem promising, but after watching one episode, I'm going to pull out my original Ghost Hunters boxed DVD set and fill my Wednesday nights with something more entertaining.

I just love Ghost Hunters%2521 I would love to be part of the crew. I love Jason and Grant and the crew. I really when they pull a prank on one of their crew members. I never get tired of them.
I agree. One week was enough for me. My husband watched a couple more episodes and gave up too. Complete let down.
