Scott Peterson Asking for Donations

Ryanick Paige
Scott Peterson is asking for donations to pay for attorney fees to overturn his 2004 conviction. In March 2005, Scott Peterson was sentenced to death by lethal injection and has been on death row ever since. Scott Peterson was convicted in the murder of his wife and unborn son, Laci and Connor. Since his conviction, the once fun loving Peterson, spends the majority of his day in a 4 x 9 cell. Fitting accommodations if you ask me since his wife and child are in a 2 x 6 box.

Scott Peterson's family is asking the public for donations to continue investigating the murders of Laci and Connor. Peterson has maintained his innocence since their disappearance. The goal of the Peterson family is to raise nearly $100,000 to find evidence for an appeal.

Laci Peterson was 7 ½ months pregnant when she went missing on Christmas Eve in 2002. Nearly 4 months later, on April 13th 2003, the body of Connor Peterson was found. A day later they found Laci's body as well. Scott Peterson was arrested for the murder of his wife and unborn child, on April 18th 2003. On the day of his arrest, it is believe that Scott Peterson was attempting to escape to Mexico. He had changed his appearance and was found with a large sum of cash and his brother's drivers license.

The story of Laci and Conner Peterson rocked the nation. Scott Peterson had been caught in multiple lies and as the investigation unfolded showed that he had had numerous affairs while he was married. This included the affair with Amber Frey, the massage therapist that called police and helped with the investigation. Amber Frey recorded conversations between herself and Peterson in an attempt to get Peterson to admit to the crime.

On April 1st 2004, the President signed The Unborn Victims of Violence Act into law. The Unborn Victims of Violence Act recognizes the unborn child as a victim if it is injured or killed during one of the more than 60 federal crimes of violence listed in the act. Laci Peterson's mother Sharon Rocha founded the Laci and Connor Peterson Search and Rescue Fund. According to Lacipeterson.com the donations initially made to the fund went to the search for Laci and Connor as well as trial costs. Future donations will be used for law enforcement and nonprofit search rescue organizations to help them get the equipment they will need.

I'll give Scott Peterson a donation, but I'd probably go to jail if I actually said what I'd like to donate to this scumbag piece of crap. I hope he rots in jail and has lots of boyfriends while he's there.

Excellent topic. I don't think Scott Peterson will get much support from the general public.
