Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World: The Game Boss Guide - Gideon Graves

The final world in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game is tough, especially if you are going through it for the first time. Moreover, you have to fight the seventh and final main boss, Gideon Graves, no more than three times. This guide will help you defeat the Ramona's seventh evil ex and the last boss of Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game.

Your first battle against the final boss is at the bottom of the elevator ride. Before breaking the glass and entering the door, make sure to pick up a bat or club from the defeated enemies. Super Gideon Graves has a melee attack in which he turns into an angel and charges at you. Quickly sidestep this to get out of harm's way. He also has several attacks in which he will rain comets down. Look for a safe place to run around to avoid being hit.

To beat Super Gideon Graves, try to trap in on the edge and flail away at him with your weapon. He will have a hard time getting out of the side. When he turns pale, run away and avoid because he will be temporarily invulnerable. You should beat him in no time.

The difficulty of the second fight depends on whether or not you picked up the Power of Love sword pierced through a cloud right before the second encounter on the cliff. That weapon gives you the most range and attack power in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game. So make sure you pick it up.

In his first form, Gideon Graves will shoot slow moving lightning balls at you. Dodge the attacks and the slash the boss in the top area of the cliff. Do not get too close to his body as he will push you back with an electrical force. Fortunately, the Power of Love sword has plenty of range to keep you at a safe distance.

Once you defeated his bottom portion, you will have to deal with the top. Gideon Graves has several attacks in this form. His long range attacks include sending three rolling skulls in different vertical planes and sending a few lightning strikes down. You should be most worry about his melee attacks. His punch will send you flying across the cliff and will dislodge the Power of Love sword. After you damage his folding arms enough, Gideon Graves will slam the ground with both fists, knocking a part of the cliff off and leaving his weak point open for a few seconds.

Only attack Gideon Graves when he starts using his lightning attacks or when he starts shooting the skulls. When you can no longer do damage to his arms, move all the way to the back of the cliff as he will slam the ground. When you see his heart expose, attack it as fast as possible before the skulls fly out of it. Rinse and repeat the process to beat Gideon Graves. The key to this fight is keeping the Power of Love sword from falling off the cliff. As long as you have it, the second part of the final boss in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game shouldn't be too hard.

Fortunately, the third and final fight against Gideon Graves is a lot easier than the first two as long as you bring a weapon along. The only attack you should worry about is when he sends a shockwave through the floor. Sidestep it and close in and attack him straight on. Try to push him to the edge as he has a hard time getting out of it if you keep whacking him. As long as you keep trapping him on the edge, you should be able to defeat Gideon Graves.
