For the beginner scrapbooker it can be difficult to know where to begin. One way to create fast and unique scrapbook albums is to purchase scrapbook theme sets. Scrapbook theme sets are coordinating papers and embellishments that you can purchase in a set.

There a few different types of theme sets you can purchase. You can get the kind that is only paper. You can find many paper stacks at your local craft store. Another option is the kind that has paper and embellishments.

One of the difficulties with scrapbooking is coming up with a coordinating color set and embellishments. You can purchase patterned paper at the craft store usually anywhere between a quarter and a dollar. However, you may find once you get the paper home that it doesn't really "go" together. One way to eliminate this problem is with scrapbook theme sets. They do all the work for you. They put together pattern papers with a specific color scheme or theme.

Even if you have a good eye for color and get the patterned paper right on the first go around, you may find you don't have the appropriate embellishments. Another benefit to scrapbook theme sets is they can also come with coordinating stickers, chipboard letters and embellishments.

There are a few things you should consider when purchasing scrapbook theme sets. First, you need to have an idea of what size you are scrapbooking. You won't need a 12x12 theme set if you are scrapping 8x8. You will also need to have an idea of the subject of the scrapbook and the photos you will be using. If you are scrapbooking about your little boy, you don't want travel theme sets.

One benefit to scrapbook themes is that there are so many options. You can chose from a variety of theme sets that focus on the same theme.

Scrapbook theme sets allow you to create fast and easy scrapbooks while maintaining quality and personality. They take away some of the stress involved in creating scrapbook albums making scrapbooking a truly enjoyable experience.

A few tips about purchasing theme sets:

-Try to locate theme sets that have double sided paper. It will give you a lot more options and flexibility in design.

-Take some of the photos with you to the craft store to see if the colors in the photo will work with the theme set you are considering.

-Always check for local sales and coupons on your scrapbooking supplies.
