Scrapbooking Ideas that Won't Break the Bank

Scrapbooking ideas are easy for some but for some it can be quiet difficult. However, thanks to the internet it's easy to creatively challenged and still be able to create works of art, that your family will be proud of. How is this possible? By looking at other people ideas and using them. Plus once you start using other people's idea you may be able to think of some spectacular ones yourself.

One scrapbooking idea I found is to use toilet paper. Sounds crazy, right? But it's not, if you have a picture, which most people do, of your son or daughter finally going to the bathroom for the first time, then why not use some decorative toilet paper on the scrapbook page. It ties in nicely to the whole bathroom theme.

Another cute scrapbooking idea is to take a picture of your babies first bath and paste it on a washcloth, you don't need to use a new one, use one that has had a little wear to it and then decorate the page a bit with some cut-out soap dispenser and little bath tubs.

For a more classic scrapbook you could use some tinsel, which is really easy to get this time of year. Or even some wrapping paper, pictures cut from Christmas cards, and Christmas gift tags. These all make cute little decorations on pages that rarely cost you anything or just a little extra.

If you have children then you're bound to have a fridge full of pictures and a shelf full of art projects from school. You can't just throw these away because it might hurt you child's feelings. So start thinking of some scrapbooking ideas that could use them. Maybe that picture of Santa will go nicely on a page of your kids opening presents. Or the jack-o-lantern on a page from Halloween. Have they every brought home flowers for you? Then hang them upside down and let them dry out. Then use them or the petals on some scrapbook pages.

If you're wanting to get the kids more involved then think of scrapbooking ideas that they can help with. Maybe it's picking out pictures they like and want on a page, or telling you what their favorite character is and basing scrapbook page on that. Older kids can even help you cut, glue, and decorate.

Scrapbooking ideas come in all shapes and sizes so you need to be on the lookout for what easy thing you could use, maybe it's that candy wrapper that shines, or the clothes tag that has a cute picture on it. You could even print pictures of the web that you like.Use up those cute art projects your child brings home by scrapbooking them
