The Retrospect 26-pocket paper organizer holds 12" x 12" papers, die cuts, transparencies, and sticker sheets for scrapbooking. The organizer can be used to protect, transport, and store your scrapbooking papers. This organizer is manufactured by Smead, a brand name that consumers recognize as a leader in the organization niche. Smead manufactures office supplies and software for home and office use. This organizer has 26 inner pockets. It also has a smaller pocket on the front, which is intended to hold photos or stickers. The inner pockets have re-usable tabs for labeling the contents, and labels are included. If you have a need for alphabetizing your scrapbooking supplies, you can easily do so. I prefer to organize my papers and supplies by color and collection, which is also easy to accomplish with this organizer.

How Much Paper Does This Scrapbooking Organizer Hold?

The Smead 26-Pocket paper organizer holds over 400 sheets of 12" x 12" paper. This is what the manufacturer advertises, and I have verified the claim. My Retrospect organizer is currently holding 403 sheets of paper in a range of weights- cardstock, transparencies, patterned papers, and die cuts- plus 2 sheets of heavy chipboard, a bunch of paper scraps, and 5 partially-used packages of Thickers. The organizer is stuffed about as full as I can get it, but the clasp still closes and the handle hasn't shown any signs of breaking or wear. That's commendable, considering that the whole organizer is heavy when loaded full. It currently weighs about 19 pounds!

Does This Paper Organizer Provide Adequate Protection For My Scrapbooking Supplies?

The Retrospect 26-pocket paper organizer is made of a flexible, heavy-duty poly material. Since the organizer is acid-free, PVC-free, and photo safe, it is a safe place to store photos and scrapbooking supplies. The poly material is also waterproof; the organizer will protect your paper from damage if you happen to spill a beverage on it or transport it to a crop in the rain.
