Scrapebooking --Part 2

Sometimes in order to tell a story with your photos you need to use more than a few photos on one page. First thing you want to do is lay the photos out on the card stock. You will probably have to crop them down to size to make them all fit on the page. Once they are all cropped lay them down on the card stock in order you want. If they all fit it is now time to glue them in place. Pick up one at a time and glue each one in place.

Once they are all glued in place you can now add decorations if you choose to do so. Make your decorations according to what the photos are about. For example if its a wedding have a bride and groom stick on or maybe some wedding flowers . Maybe your picture is about Halloween then add a scarecrow or some pumpkins but you get the picture.

To make a title for your page you can either make one from colored paper or use a store bought one. I recommend making one yourself. To do this measure the width ( if placing it at the top or bottom of page) if placing it down the side measure the length. Cut a strip of colored paper that goes well with the background. Glue in down across the top bottom, or down the side. Now you need to place some letters on this strip to spell out something about the picture, Example "Vacation", Lucy's Birthday, etc.

You can get free clip art for decorations for your pages on most any clip art site. Just type in free clip art in goggle.Choose what you want, print it out for free and then cut it out and glue it on your pages.

Sometimes you may want to put a pocket on the pages to slip your journal tag into. To do this just cut out a strip of paper just a little bigger than your tag. Fold down the sides and across the bottom leaving the top open. Fold these pieces inward. Put glue on these inside pieces only and glue down, Warning before gluing anything make sure your tag will fit in the pocket and can be removed easily. If it does it is OK to glue it down.
