Scuba Diving in Australia

Australia is a country made up of the finest landscape in the world. I've been to Australia only once, and have ever since wished to gain another visit. The country is addictive, as well as enjoyable. Australia is home to many different species of animals that most of us in other parts of the world have never even imagined before seeing. Some of these animals include the amazing kangaroo, the unique koala bear, and the interesting sloth.

Never to forget, Australia is known as the great outdoors for a reason. Australia has one of the largest coral reef systems out of anywhere else in the world. This is a huge visiting attraction for millions of people from around the world. Most of these visitors are interested in scuba diving through the amazing patch of coral!

There are literally thousands of different locations in Australia which would make for a great dive along the reef, and time is your only limiting factor. There really is no limit to where or for how long you can dive for without seeing the same thing twice in Australia.

I'll do my best to help narrow down the choices for all of you anxious scuba divers, or maybe you're scuba diving for the first time.

Among the favorites of the majority of the scuba divers who have experience in Australia, is Whitsunday Islands. These islands are located in Queenstown Australia. Not only is this one location beautiful as a whole, but you're going to have even more options here, because there are 150 glorious oases, which are located throughout the islands.

Please also notice that there are several world class resorts along this line of coral, these are: Daydream, Bramptom, Haymon, Long, and South Molle. So if you're planning a scuba trip, this is by far one of the best locations to go because you'll have the convenience of having a resort nearby, as well as over 150 different locations to get a great scuba diving experience.

Coffs Harbour is another favorite of many local scuba divers. This location is a tourist haven located in New South Wales. This location offers an excellence in diverse marine life. This is by far the best dive site in this area of Australia.

The Solitary Islands are another great location for diving in Australia. These islands are located just south of the Great Barrier Reef, and are therefore great for scuba diving due to the presence of the flora and fauna from the Great Barrier Reef.

These are just a few of the great locations for diving in Australia. I recommend consulting a local travel guide, or someone else who is more experienced in the field of scuba diving before setting off, but these are definitely the favorites of several local scuba divers.
