Most of the items in this seafood gift basket are non perishable, so they can easily be mailed without any worries. I will throw in a few affordable seafood options you can add to your gift basket if you are running it across town to give to someone as a gift!

First up is a great organic lemon juice straight from real lemons. Silica Lemon juice is a not from concentrate lemon juice you can find at Trader Joe's. I really use and love this lemon juice. It is the perfect addition to grilled seafood, grilled shrimp, or even grilled lobster tails.

Ok, so you want ot add some real fish to your seafood gift basket? Well, if this is an option for you I recommend leaving the fish frozen in the freezer and only packaging it into the seafood gift basket at the last moment.

Hand deliver your seafood gift basket as quickly as possible and make sure the recipient gets the fish straight into the freezer.

I tried and awesome freezer packed Mahi Mahi the other day from Trader Joe's. This awesome Mahi Mahi is already seasoned and sugar free. I sautéed mine in a stainless steel an on the stove top, but this fish would be awesome grilled!
