Seafood Ideas for Christmas Eve

Serving your family and friends seafood on Christmas Eve can be mouth watering for everyone. Here are some simple and tasty recipes to wow your guests.

Shrimp and Crab Dip:
In a bowl:
1/2 pound of small cooked shrimp
1/2 pound of fresh or canned crab
1 Cup of fresh Cilantro chopped
1 diced Avocado
1/4 Cup of green onion (chives)
1/2 Cup of Red onion
1/4 Cup of fresh lemon juice
3 Tablespoons of Lawry's Garlic Salt or something similar
1 TSP of Pepper
1/2 Cup to 3/4 Cup of Mayonnaise - (to a dip texture)

Mix together. Chill for at least an hour.
Serve with crackers

Broiled Salmon with Dill:

1 Large cut of Salmon
In a bowl, marinate the Salmon
1/2 Cup of White Wine
1 TSP of Salt
1 TSP of Pepper
1 TSP of Garlic Salt
1/4 Cup of fresh lemon juice
1/2 Cup of fresh cut Dill
Marinate for about 3 hours

Take the dill off the Salmon
Wrap in foil on a cookie sheet
Before wrapping add 1/4 stick of butter
Broil 20 - 25 minutes

Serve on a platter with fresh dill and lemons

Shrimp and Pasta:

In a saute pan, add 1/4 Cup of Olive Oil
2 chopped cloves of garlic
saute the garlic
Add 1 pound of cooked and cleaned shrimp
Saute on low
Add 1 TSP of Salt
Add 1 TSP of Pepper
Add 1/4 Cup of Lemon Juice
Add 1/4 Cup of White Wine
Add 1/8 Cup of Cream
Continue to stir with heat low

Cook thin pasta noodles as directed
Rinse noodles and put in a bowl
Add the Shrimp and Sauce
Mix together and serve
