Kens5News reports that Baby Gabriel's father, Logan McQueary, has said that at least three teams of investigators are working on the search for Baby Gabriel, based on both assumptions of his being alive and of his being dead. According to Kens5News, investigators from the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) are being closemouthed about the landfill investigation.
Yet, KPHO News reports that the SAPD are talking- sort of. At a conference yesterday for Mothers Against Drunk Drivers, SAPD Chief William McManus said of the missing Baby Gabriel case, "We have not opened a homicide case. We are still considering it a missing person case. And we're meeting to determine how we're going to proceed within the next couple of days." The Chief refused to talk about the pending landfill search for Baby Gabriel's body. Instead, he reiterated, "We're not prepared to talk about that right now. Next week we will be."
Elizabeth Johnson kidnapped Baby Gabriel on December 18, 2009. Baby Gabriel was last seen on December 26, with his mom. On December 27, she told the dad that she had killed the baby, stuffed his blue body into diaper bag, dumped the bag into the trash. After that, she told the police that she given Baby Gabriel away to strangers.
The Kens5News report states, However, police are not saying that the baby is dead. But his mother, Elizabeth Johnson, has alluded to it, they say. There is no information as to whether or not this is a recent allusion by Johnson. The Kens5News statement, in context, seems to imply that Johnson's allusion is recent.
Johnson is presently held at Estrella Jail in Maricopa County, Phoenix, Arizona on four felony charges and a $1.1 million cash-only bond. The father, Logan McQueary, is hoping Baby Gabriel is alive and is planning to follow Johnson's kidnapping trail using information that police recovered from the GPS device used by Johnson to navigate from Tempe Arizona to San Antonio Texas in her grandfather's Oldsmobile.

Post a CommentI agree with Jan. I don't think this is going to have a happy ending.
She better fry if this turns out badly!
I agree with Jan on both accounts.
Let's all hope they don't find him because Idiot-Mom gave him away. Ahh...for the days of Nadya Sulleman again.
I think this will have a sad ending. I have no idea how a parent could hurt a child.
