Search and Win with Kevin Federline?

Marsha J
It seems that Kevin Federline has his very own website and search engine now. The soon to be ex-husband of Britney Spears is the face of searchwithkevin.prodege.com and K-fed is giving away everything from Kevin Federline t-shirts to autographs to a party invite. While this is not a bad idea, the people behind the scenes forgot one thing. Most people could care less about Mr. K-fed or Fed-ex as they are now calling him and really do not want to win anything from him, much less an invitation to one of his many, many parties.

You have to wonder at the genius behind this idea. From commercials to television to movies, big executives seem to think that someone the average public cannot stand and do not like will somehow still manage to sell a product. They can only hope that this search and win website does not have the same "success" as his rap album.

While Kevin Federline did start to look a little better in some people's eyes after Britney Spears wigged out, he still does not elicit a great response from most people. In fact they are plain disgusted in both Kevin and Britney and people would rather not hear about them for a long time if forever.

It also does not help that this website looks more like a personal webpage or blog than an actual search engine site. Search with Kevin features a large picture of Kevin Federline who is posing with two of his favorite activities, those being drinking and gambling, while he also holds a small cigar and looks into the camera like he's an A list celebrity.

If you are still on the site after five seconds you will also notice a plug to his album. If you didn't catch it before, the whole search engine website is an attempt at boosting record sales for an awful rap album. The website features his "Playing With Fire" CD and the top of the page tells you to play with fire to search and with Kevin Federline.

If you have ever visited the top two search and win sites Winzy and Blingo, the Kevin Federline search site should look a bit familiar in some parts. It features a spot that tells you the latest winners on the right and also urges you to make the Kevin Federline search and win website your homepage or download toolbars and plug-ins to further damage your computer. Besides searching to win, a visitor can also win by referring friends to the search site. Question is, will they still be your friend after you send them this junk mail?
