Searching for Super Mario Figures Produced by Goldie and Popco

Highly Collectible Super Mario Figures at Cheap Prices

Decent Super Mario Bros. figures are so hard to come by these days, but companies such as Goldie and Popco have changed that. Not too long ago, both companies were given the green light by Nintendo to produce highly detailed Super Mario figurines. These figurines were supposed to look exactly like their pixilated counterparts. Goldie and Popco successfully accomplished that goal by giving Mario and Luigi the "Super Mario Galaxy" look. These little guys are possibly the best Super Mario figures ever released by a toy company. According to www.goldiemarketing.com.au, Goldie has already released two different waves of Mario figurines that come in collector tins. These collector tins contain two different figures from the Super Mario Bros. franchise. For example, in Wave 1, you can get a tin that comes with both a Yoshi and Bullet Bill figure. Searching for these collectible figures is not a hard task at all. You can easily find them on www.eBay.com and www.amazon.com for affordable prices. Finding them online is the quickest and easiest way to purchase them, but I recommend on buying them in person since you will not be charged for shipping. Stores such as FYE (formerly known as Sam Goody) carry these collector tins at excellent prices.

Goldie has also released a line of jumbo sized Super Mario figures that measure approximately five inches long. These figures are made from vinyl and are somewhat poseable from the arms and head. They are excellent for children since they are impossible to swallow. The figures that come inside the collector tins pose a much greater choking hazard for children under seven. As mentioned before, the five inch line of these figures can be found easily on eBay. They are slightly more expensive than the figures that come inside the collector's tins, but are totally worth it. The only unfortunate thing about Goldie's lines of Nintendo figures would be the exclusion of characters from both the Legend of Zelda and Metroid franchises. If Goldie were to produce such line of figurines, their sales would multiply instantly because there are no affordable Metroid figures in existence. Goldie could easily become the company of choice for children and collectors alike if they decide to release figures from the Metroid and Zelda franchises. Goldie should also consider designing a line of Super Mario Kart figurines that come with detachable Go Karts. It is a long shot, but worth thinking about.
